Campervan Technician – Large Van Workshop
- Full-time
- North Devon
- Competitive – based on experience
- Monday – Friday
Taylored Campervans is looking for a Campervan Technician to join our growing team, working primarily within our large van workshop on our premium campervan conversions.
We build high-quality, adventure-ready campervans, and we're looking for someone who takes genuine pride in their work and has an excellent eye for detail.
The Role
You'll be involved in a wide range of tasks throughout the campervan conversion process, working alongside our experienced workshop team on larger vans such as MAN TGE and similar platforms.
The work is varied and could include:
- Interior fitting and assembly
- Furniture and cabinetry installation
- Electrical and plumbing installation
- Fitting windows, rooflights and external components
- Flooring, insulation and interior finishing
- Installing campervan equipment and accessories
- General workshop and conversion work
- Working from build plans and specifications
- Carrying out work to a consistently high standard
Who We're Looking For
Previous campervan conversion experience is helpful, but it isn't essential.
We're equally interested in people from practical backgrounds such as vehicle fitting, coachbuilding, carpentry, joinery, electrical work, mechanical work or other hands-on trades.
More importantly, we're looking for someone who:
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Takes pride in producing high-quality work
- Is practical and confident using tools
- Can work well as part of a close-knit team
- Is reliable, organised and willing to learn
- Can work independently when required
- Understands that the finishing details matter
Our conversions are built to a high standard, so we're looking for someone who would rather take the time to do a job properly than simply get it finished.
What We Offer
You'll be joining an established and growing North Devon campervan conversion company, working from our dedicated large van workshop.
We offer:
- Competitive pay based on experience and ability
- Monday–Friday working
- A varied role with different builds and challenges
- Opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge
- A friendly, close-knit workshop team
- The chance to work on some exciting, high-spec campervan builds
- A long-term position within a growing business
If you already have relevant experience, we'd love to hear from you. Equally, if you're practical, enthusiastic and have the right attitude and attention to detail, don't be put off by not having worked in the campervan industry before.

Send us your CV along with a short introduction telling us a little about yourself, your experience and why you think you'd be a good fit for Taylored Campervans.
